As of a couple days ago, trying to install the Android Development Tools Plugin via Eclipse's Software Update has been failing with the error "No repository found at https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/". After an hour of hunting, I managed to find the well hidden manual download and installation of the ADT plugin:
It looks like that link is now the top hit for "Android ADT Plugin Download" now, which it wasn't a few days ago. It's probably jumped in PageRank since this issue started...

The problem is JVM in linux machines by default points to GCJ you can fix this error by pointing it to right JVM see below link for instructions
