ROM Manager – Any Recovery

This has been a bit overdue, but users who don’t want to use ClockworkMod recovery can now install zip files off their SD card using ROM Manager! (This is a Premium feature only.)

However, there are technical limitations that prevent full ROM Manager support for AmonRa recovery and such. These other recoveries need the proper hooks for ROM Manager to communicate with them and and do scripted installations and backups. But of course, ClockworkMod recovery is open source and can be forked and ported to new devices.

CW Recovery and Rom Manager on Nook Color.
Any interest in helping get CW running on NC from the market download? The ADB script here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=896682
works. Thanks for all you do!

Latest update does not download on my G1 (HTC Dream). Hangs in the Andorid Market, and prevents anything else from being downloaded over the Market. Can't uninstall ROM Manager either: the uninstall button is grayed out. How can I abort this hang, or uninstall ROM Manager. My advice: don't mess with the Market.

Hi, is there any possibility to add ZTE Blade (Orange San Francisco) phone to Rom manager supported phones? Lots of people would really appreciate it. Thank You.

I understand cyanogen not supporting g1 in gingerbread form but as far as koush is concerned he should have let us g1 users know. I didn't purchase Rom manager until a month ago then i find out a week or so later that there is not gonna be any support for g1's and of course he wont respond and he wont refund me .All the nightly's dissapeared even from koushes server so g1 users be warned don't purchase rom manager this im going to post on every android forum on the net. Due to koush isnt letting g1 users know whats happening and as far as im concerned if there is no support then there shouldnt be a rom manager at all. So as to be totally honest with all the devices rom manger has bricked and the lack of support i am going to even go so far as to say even if you dont have g1. Be forwarned any issues dev wont respond emailed him from multiple email addresses and emailed more than one of his emails. So stay away from all clockwork mods and rom manager. To top it all off wes gardner is maintaining cyanogen gingerbread but within the nightly builds by koush it specifically says avoid wes gardner at all costs so just shows what koush is about. So it goes without saying avoid koush at all costs wish he wasnt part of they cyanogen community everything about cyanogen is open source except anything koush makes lol what does that say that he isnt about what cyanogen stands for he is giving cyanogen a bad name and rep.

By the way im not saying koush is not a amazing proggrammer
cause he is but personality portrays everything in life......

Koush,

I'm having a similar problem with CLOCKWORKMOD Recovery as ED (posted @ March 8th). I am unable to boot into recovery or perform a backup of my OG Droid (Droid 1). I have purchased the premium version. Related to the recent update to the Droid (2.2.2)?

Please advise on this.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Dying for HD2 Support, I hear there is a way to get HD2 with the Nightly CM7 unofficial releases working on XDA but I would be all over buying this app (along with tons of other HD2 users) if it was working out of box. Please consider adding.

The new version of you ROM Manager has removed my premium rights. This damn software hasn't worked from the beginning. I tried and tried to get help from you, but I don't thing that you care. I'm just another stucker that you dupped out of $5. This email like all of the rest that I've sent you will just be trashed and forgotten. You gotten you money why care about the damage done to the other developers.

@Steven, update both the premium license and the free version.
What are your other issues?

There was a person years back that published a newspaper add, stating that he would make you a rich person if you sent this person one dollar in the mail . Millions sent the dollar and recieved a letter telling them to publish an add claiming to be able to make people rich.I'm not sure but I believe the law had him return the money.

After copying all my .img files up to my computer's hard drive, I also went through the steps for "Restore Your Phone". Afterwards, my (original) Droid (1) simply shows a yellow exclamation point ("!") with a white triangle around it. Was my SD card not properly "mounted"? How do I recover?
